Kirill Preobrazhensky

Was born in Moscow. Artist, curator and teacher. Works mainly with video. Participated in documenta 12. In the period from 1990 to 1993 he participated in the project «Van Gogh TV» Group, including project «Piazza Virtuale» presented at the documenta 9. Participated in the activities of the «Pirate TV». The professor of The Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia. One of the creators of the video magazine «Vidiot». Curator of the project «Start» of the 2015/2016 season.

Video is created on the basis of records missile launches, made for the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos). Loud and bright highs rockets into «nowhere» – a metaphor for the social and political situation in Russia.
