Silence

A huge explosion frozen in rotten wooden boards with the epicenter in a room pierced by wooden shards can be interpreted as a revolt against a sterile gallery space.
The artist set himself the task of pinning down the fast-moving and irreversible nature of the world — the silent scream puncturing the walls, the brutal material and the cyclopean dimensions. The silent explosion creates a sense of chronicling events as they happen, in part referring to the tradition of war documentary. It is also as if the artist is demonstrating processes that take place in the mind of a person from a post-industrial society: the constant stress, aggression and pressure from outside is an endless explosion fixed in the time and space of consciousness.
