Vinogradov and Dubosarsky

The book is devoted to the work of cooperating artists Alexander Vinogradov and Vladimir Dubosarsky, unlike many artists of their generation remained faithful to the traditional painting. The book is an attempt to understand and explain the new trend of domestic art, to determine the role and place of artists in the context of the development of national and world culture.

Viktor Misiano:
«Almost always, at each stage of the history of art creates a special type of artist who can be called as an artist of generation…
There is no doubt that in the art of post-Soviet Russia in the creative destiny of first generation this mission implemented Dubosarskiy Vladimir and Alexander Vinogradov. It is their creative project with comprehensive capacity embodied the post-Soviet era – the fantasies of owning it, conscious or repressed, determines its ideologies perceived by software or unconsciously».
