Faybisovich Semen

The exhibition shows a part of the new series ‘My Yard’, which is dominated by texture and
landscape. Usually in my works there are people who are in the focus of attention, but here it has been
shifted towards the environment surrounding them, its state, mood, etc. When people are present,
they are absorbed by this environment themselves, contribute to it, turn out to be its natural part.
As a matter of fact the subject is the same: transparent textures of life around us, our existence
in it. Negative aspects of this existence, that are currently developing, unfortunately, are partially
balanced by the beauty of unimpressive, which saves the world as much as it can; they are mitigated
by entropic charm of garbage, warmth and juiciness of these textures, reconciling us somehow with life.
