The screened subconsciousness

Streams of paint in pictures-installations of Nikolay Nasedkin represent not just the formal experiment with the colour but the deliberate «selfhood» of the author. Nasedkin is a chronicler of emotion who transfers it into a materialized narrative.
All the geographical bindings of The Crimea are extremely important, because here biography is intricately connected with topography. These works are not abstract, for the location specifics correlates with the artist’s personality. He uses toxic materials to create the installation. The smell of paint is knocking off but it is the spirit of genuine art, which cannot be restrained by the concept of «actual».
Nasedkin is a traditionalist on the verge of radicalism, he fell out of time and out of himself.
One can watch these works or read them, threading way through chemical palimpsests of the statement’s clandestine core that is hidden behind expressionistic polychrome monograms.
