The winners of the 12th Kandinsky Prize 2019
On November 13, 2019 the winners of the 12th Kandinsky Prize were announced in Mosow museum of modern art (MMOMA). The event also featured an exhibition of the nominees’ works. The judges selected the winners in three nomination categories, Project of the Year, Young Artist. Project of the Year and Scholarly Work. History and Theory of Contemporary Art. The winners are:

The 2019 money prize remains the same:
the winner of “Project of the Year” nomination gets 1,800,000 rubles;
the winner of “Young Artist. Project of the Year” nomination gets 450,000 rubles;
the winner of the “Scholarly Work. History and Theory of Contemporary Art” nomination gets the work published in Russian or English as part of the Breus Publishing project.
