A new nomination of the Kandinsky Prize are announced
Important changes were made to the Prize procedures this year.
Beginning in 2014 prizes will be awarded for 3 categories:
1. “Project of the Year”
2. “Young Artist Project of the Year.”
3. “Scholarly Work. History and Theory of Contemporary Art” – new category
The Foundation’s president Shalva Breus commented: “The Prize is constantly growing, reacting to changes in the artistic process. At the present we feel it is important to support academic work related to contemporary art. It is what is needed now.”
