Half the trouble or illusion of the routine
Author turns again to the problem of human connection with the world of forms, space and way of life. According to the artist herself, the series refers more to naive art, not claiming a stylistic novelty. But as all artists’s projects this one is closely connected with the exhibition place and is addressed to a specific site. The exposition includes five blocks, each of which presents a series of artworks depicting the same objects: a can, a kettle, garages and daffodils, as well as a separate block of canvases with text messages. The exposition is supplemented by audio.

“Creating these artworks, I thought about the fact that sooner or later the experimental artist becomes a craftman. And my favourite stories, which as I thought I can draw endlessly, at some point become almost unbearable. I chose tablets instead of canvases (plywood on a stretcher) аor this project, so the process of creation in itself resembled a needlework rather than painting.”
