The performance “Underwear” was shown at the “Way-Road” exhibition (curated by Mikhail Sidlin) in December 2012 in the photohub_Manometr at the Artplay Moscow Center of Design. The performance lasted an hour and a half while the video version is 13 minutes 42 seconds long. In the performance the artist, wearing a nightgown, walks barefoot along a long, shining podium covered with broken glass and reads aloud fragments of her diaries, which date from her childhood to the present day (1983-2012). A radical existential performance about the birth and individuation of the artist and the piece she is performing — or “art about art.”
